Everything was going great with Nextie until the wheels had to be shipped…
I ordered my wheelset on January 7th. I was sure to ask if Nextie could build the wheels before they took their planned break for Chinese New Year and they confirmed they could build and initiate the shipping before Jan 25th.
Sure enough, I got a FedEx tracking number on the 23rd. And then… nothing. The FedEx tracking showed the same status of “Label created” but no movement.
I reached out to Nextie since they returned to the office on Feb 4th and they informed me today that “carrier just told us today, it was detained by customs because it exceeded new regulations”.
So, word of caution right now for those of us ordering from the US. You should expect shipping delays and of course now a minimum of 10% tax.
