Yup. Already had a pair but I still regret not getting a second pair for my impending NBD.
@RMS138 I’ve purchased from northwestbicycle before for my brake pads (since Galfor pro pads don’t exist for SRAM Rival/Force AXS in Canada). Zero issues, shipped quickly.
Who snitched? SRAM transmission not on sale anymore. ![]()
I still see some groupsets SRAM Components
Yeah but the not the new transmission.
Biketiresdirect has a whole spread of their black friday deals. SRAM, Zipp, Castelli, Tacx, Garmin, Continental, Shimano shoes, and more: Black Friday Deals for Cyclists - BikeTiresDirect 21563
Keep in mind SRAM runs like a cartel and maintains 100% control on pricing and timing of discounts, so whatever happens will happen across all retailers. Give your LBS some love.
This isn’t unique to SRAM — they all do this. Most of the companies have a Minimum Advertised Price. You see this all the time with Garmin, where all the sales are the same.
Maybe so but I feel like a dick asking an LBS to match internet prices these days.
Rule28 Black Friday Sale started: rule28.com
For example, the Aero Base Layer is down from 175Euro to 150Eruo ![]()
I wish this were true. Only North America. Maybe Europe.
Here in New Zealand we seem to be perpetually boned when it come to getting the discounts offered elsewhere. Particularly SRAM, but also Fox and Hayes/Manitou ![]()
I am not sure if that is really true in the EU. From what I have read from various forums, for example the new transmission groupsets are sold more or less at list price in the US, while the European resellers have had very nice discounts for a long time already. You can find the GX group for around 800€ and the X0 group for less than the list price of GX. And these are not from some shady individuals selling random parts from their garage, but from the biggest online sellers in Germany.
Wasn’t me!
I created an account for their perks and when I’m logged in it shows a different price, like how biketiresdirect does. But ![]()
Oh, I get it now. I didn’t realize they had come out with a new transmission called transmission. ![]()
Yep, US only, should have been more specific.
Manufacturer-imposed minimum advertised pricing is considered illegal under price fixing laws in the EU (and most places?), whereas it isn’t in the US.
Some highly marked up/never discounted stuff ends up real cheap when imported, others are just on par with the discounted prices here.
Wahoo Kickr Core @ REI = $479.99 and is free from the $100 Zwift membership that is present elsewhere (Zwift & Wahoo sites specifically).
They are 55 now
Looks like Challenge has plenty of other tires on sale now.
Assos just opened their Black Friday sales in the US.
Briefly scanning through the options left me completely underwhelmed. YMMV
