Deals / Sales / Discounts for Cycling "Stuff" (2023)

Wahoo seems to be dumping the Rival Watch at $99.99 right now.

Yes, such bargains!
And the neo suit is down to only $500

With the glut of product and market downturn, I’m not getting out of bed for less than a 40% discount this season.

Compabies are marking up retail only to discount it back down

WOW - that’s a bargain!

But not if it’s being discontinued and no updates/support in future.

I have no interest, but like many things… if what is on offer now meets your needs and price threshold, it looks like a solid deal.

Ugh… I just won one of these and was planning to sell it. Good deal if anyone’s interested lol!

Wahoo… killing product resale value since 2023 :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You’re being generous!

I fixed for you

Looks like the sales are spreading. Nobl wheels has around 30% off, fox has some forks on sale, world wide cyclery throwing an extra 15% off on some of their stock and ketl has 30% off. I also saw that MAAP is having a sale but their stuff is still to expensive for my taste.

If you want to take a chance on a bankrupt company, chainreaction has nukeproof frames on sale…up to 50% off. :man_shrugging:

Eliel cycling has some killer black friday deals. Half off and more

Looks like KETL raised the prices on all of their stock. So its actually more expensive before it was on sale.

Curious to see if Trek expands any of their “sale” offerings for Black Friday. Right now Emondas are marked down on Trek’s website, but Madones and Domanes are not. I talked to a local Trek Store about a high end Domane and they really weren’t willing to move off retail pricing despite having bought 5 bikes there in the past including three top of the line builds, so they must be selling well.

Trek’s pre-owned section on their website has also filled in with a lot of bikes. Tons of Madone’s and some Domane’s. For recent models, the prices are only about 10% less than full retail, so that may be part of the reason they are having the shops hold the prices at retain for new models.

Proscloset.com has had a few killer deals, but the best ones seem to be snatched up fast. Last week there was briefly a 2023 Domane SLR 7 AXS with powermeter upgrade that was $5600. It was snatched up quick. One thing I noticed though on Proscloset is that they may list a bike for example as a Domane SLR 9, but many of the components can be quite different than what comes on an SLR 9 from Trek even though the model year is supposed to be the same.

From what I can tell, road bikes continue to sell at a premium. Example - a Tarmac SL7 Pro is “on sale” for only $500 less than an SL8 Pro.

Vittoria 35% off.

VIP35

Thanks just stocked up on Airliner Lights for next year’s XCM season.

I run the full fat Vittoria liners, didn’t know the light one existed until now.

Other than weight savings am I missing out on anything?

Airliner Lights do not absorb sealant is #1. Different shape too.

Much more of an XC focus as they are less dense than the first version.

Some of it is escalation from Black Friday, the earlier the sales, the more of people’s wallet retailers can capture before they’re tapped out for the holiday season.

The whole doorbuster loss-leader type sales for Black Friday seem to be dead, so don’t hold out for those anymore.

100%…if I see a great deal on something like Infinit now, then if Flow Formulas runs a sale a week later, I have no interest in making that purchase as well. Same for clothing, etc.
