I deal with a fizik supplier and sell their “open box” shoes typically for a pretty good. What size do you need?
PM’d…
What’s their quality like? Been using Rapha’s and Le Col, but need to replace them as they’re worn out.
Speaking of cycling shoes, anyone can recommend a shoe that has a wide toe box?
Sidi Mega is what I ended up with for wide feet. I loved my Giros but my feet didn’t. Sidis work so well for me I’m probably never buying another brand.
I’m pretty happy with S-Phyre. Definitely NOT Sidi wide. They aren’t really very wide, and they just use the normal sole with more leather, so the footbed is still narrow. Ive heard good things about Bont, but they are always out of stock and no one carries them locally where I live. I like the Giro mesh shoes because they stretch some, but I’ve never found any with a super stiff sole and tend to get some numbness on the trainer. I’ve settled on the S-Phyre for the combination of wide toe box and stiff sole.
Excellent! I first got the Stratos 12 hour bib, liked it a lot then got the Raptor. They are 31% off right now, awesome bibs and the chamois is legit and materials are super nice too.
I have very wide feet and have had luck with the Lake shoes in wide. The have a chart on their website that shows the length & width for each size and model
+1 for Lake
Lake also has an Endurance fit for some shoes which isn’t necessarily wide but just a bit more volume. These work well for me as I don’t have wide feet but prefer a roomy fit.
I also keep reading about the mythical Bont fit but no store carries them near me and I’ve not personally met anybody that owns a pair. Kinda like a unicorn!
+1 for Lake!
They (and Bont I think) only have wide shoes (wide sole) and not big volume like other.
I have a really wide feet but not “big” and Lakes just feel right!
Looks like REI 20% off coupon has been released.
The REI 20% off one item regular store or outlet is only from Nov 13-23. Use code GEARUP2020 at checkout.
SiS has 50% gels right now, plus free gels with $50 purchase.
Notable new language in it this year - not valid on “bike trainers”. That’s a first, and my guess heavily influenced by both Wahoo and Garmin (which now owns Tacx), which never appreciated the sales.
I need wide and have a mortons neuroma in one foot. Giro wide have been a lifesaver!
Interesting exclusion this year for sure. Does this mean it would be best to wait for Clever Training to do their 20% off sale this year? Or would you expect similar changes from them? I picked up a Kickr Core from them using my DCR VIP account when they last ran it back in March or so.
Excel Sports is having a sale on Novatec Carbon wheels. Not sure on the quality myself, but hopefully someone with experience can chime in. Seems like a solid deal.

Hmm, wonder if they sell gum…
Think you meant to post this on the memes and jokes thread.
