The Feed is offering BOGO on Maurten products today. I can’t justify paying full price but I have 2, 12 count gel packs in my cart for $43, still quite expensive but I figured now may be the time to try them. Free shipping and a free water bottle sweeten the deal.
Is the price of admission worth it? Should I try the drink mix too? I’m using TailWind with no issues now.

This product is designed to be mixed with 17 oz. (500 mL) of water that has less than 40 mg/L calcium content. Maurten is careful to say that the functionality of this ratio is key for it to work well.
How do you know the exact composition of your tap water?

Just looked up the 108-page municipal water* report: 4.73 mg/L (mean value) calcium content.
I’m good to go! 
*my “water” has an ingredient list that would make Pizza Pops blush! All I want is a simple glass of H and O!
