I tried getting garmin 3 in my cart from CT but the discount doesn’t seem to apply. It’s the only item in my cart as mention by CT, and I’m logged in. Anyone else havothe same issue?
Same here - if you notice on the product page it says that this item is not eligible for coupons. Look right below the ‘add to cart’ button.
Wonder if power meters are considered bike simulators😎
Thanks for that! Just contacted OutdoorPlay to see if they will match it, my unit literally just got delivered today, sitting outside of my house right now till I get done work actually
No problem and my pleasure. Maybe will have to upgrade from my kickr snap based on this deal
I did reach out to them last week to confirm and they told me yes, bike trainers aren’t included in the 20% off sale. But it looks like they will be discounting Saris’s stuff.
I believe the saris stuff is outside of the normal 20% as REI does sometimes with some exclusives.
Strong play by Saris honestly to capture some buyers that are on the fence. I was thinking Neo2 but maybe Saris H3 now. Plus REI is awesome with customer service. The slight discount over CleverTraining which I buy from as well makes it even better.
Cycleops / Saris also does Reconditioned/Refurbished on their website. FYI
Vector 3 is not included in the sale
I was thinking about getting the H3 from CT, but it looks like they won’t ship it to Canada… so I’m out of luck. ![]()
I just got the opposite response ![]()
Thanks for reaching out to us regarding our upcoming member 20% off coupon.
The GEARUP2019 coupon can be applied to bike trainers, we do not have bike simulators listed on our website yet.
My specific question was:
Hi,
With the 20% off promotion starting tomorrow, it lists ‘bike simulators’ as excluded, but I don’t know what those are. Does this mean that smart trainers like the
Saris H3 Direct Drive Smart Trainer is excluded from the discount?
Thanks,
Roy
Since the Saris trainers are 25% off starting tomorrow, the discount isn’t interesting for that model, but apparently will work for other trainers.
Well, that’s good to know because they always included them in previous years. I asked Three different sales agents and specifically about the kickr and all three told me it’s not included.
Will find out tomorrow. Now I want to know what bike simulators are ![]()
Maybe bike simulators are smart bikes? Kickr climb? The Saris $1200 rocker plate? (climb and rocker plate are on the website, so must not be those.)
I can see not wanting to give 20% off a $3000 ‘bike’
That’s weird…I got my Hammer 1 in September from Clever Training. Ordered Wednesday night, arrived Friday at lunch from Fedex.
Yeah, looks like they ship other trainers out this way, but not the H3 for some reason.
Looks like as of right now REI has actually included the NEO 2T in the 20% off sale: http://bit.ly/37cAbVt
If years of REI trainer sale history is any indication:
A) They’l continue to honor it
B) But they probably have a very small quantity of inventory
Said differently: Grab it quick!
Vector3 are on rei website for $800, no coupon needed. You can save the coupon for later!
Did you get charged any customs/duties/tax? I’m looking at ordering the Kickr Core from CT in Canada because its cheaper than any deals here, but I don’t want to get dinged with hundreds of dollars in extra fees
I think the duties was around $120 for a $650 item. So depending on how much you’re spending, it may be higher or lower.
