Deals / Sales / Discounts for Cycling "Stuff" (2018-2022)

Good call-out. So are there ever great deals on the Duos?

Some would argue the DUO’s standard price is a deal offering effectively equivalent features to the Vector 3. I tend to think $650 is a decent price.

If you watch eBay you can find decent deals on them ($450 used - $550 like new) from time to time. I like to look for ā€œDealsā€ and don’t think I have personally seen much else (i.e. discounts on top of the $650 pricing).

Has anyone actually ordered from the outdoor play site? I may bite the bullet on the H3 for a quieter experience since I train next to the bedroom and this will help my wife sleep as I ride in the mornings. My buddy is likely going to buy my 1 year old H2, for the quiet factor I can justify the price since the H3 is $850 but want to make sure the company is legit

Have you ever ordered anything from this site? I’m thinking of getting this and want to make sure they’re a legit business and that Saris will stand behind their product if I buy from here

Yeah for sure, $650 isn’t bad at all, just didn’t want to pay more right before a big sale or something.

Yes, I ordered and received the saris h3 from this website using the deal I posted. I had absolutely zero issues. Ordered on a Friday, received the tracking info 4 hours later, received on Tuesday, which probably means had I not ordered over the weekend it would’ve arrived within 48 hours of order (bordering states for me though)- just to give you an idea of my experience with them.

Thanks, just what I was hoping to hear

How are you finding the H3?

Without trying to de-rail the thread too much I’ll just say a few things. I’ve decided that I like it. However, it’s my first smart trainer as I used a dumb trainer only prior to that. I also have been using powermatch with Garmin V3 pedals so I can’t speak directly to accuracy. There’s a bit of a learning curve making the transition from a dumb trainer to erg/powermatch and I wasn’t entirely sure I liked it at first. However, I don’t think that’s specific to the H3. DCR says it’s the best for TR and ERG. It’s also what Nate has been using (and he can pick whatever he wants).

LOL- thanks Chad!

Hi

Has anybody brought any items from
Wish.com ? All looks ok but I can’t get over the prices ?

Anybody take the plunge and pulled the trigger ?

Bits and pieces… but not any cycle clothing. Anything in particular you are looking at? In general read the reviews and look at the photos.

Looking at the bibs set and other bits and bobs can’t get over the price -I wonder if it’s too good to be true

You get what you pay for. I bought noncycling stuff and was very much ā€œworth what I paid for itā€. Don’t do it for cycling clothes.

I assume that’s basically Aliexpress because it’s mainly stuff from China right?

Close to pulling the trigger on the H3 from Outdoorplay for $850 with the coupon code, does anyone know of anywhere that may have it cheaper? I remember REI had 20% off but I can’t find any codes or anything for it, not sure if its just for members

Rei does not have its 20% off code on currently as far as I know.

I’m pretty sure the REI 20% off goes out around when dividends are paid out, so in the March/April timeframe.

I’m hoping clevertraining has a 20% off for VIP members as they often due around November, as the H3 for $800 would be a great deal.

REI does their 20% member coupon 3-4 times a year. There should be one coming up between now and Christmas. They do usually have more exclusions than Clever Training though.
