Old Chinese Proverd apparently.
Notes from my trainer ride today: Finishing 7x90s @ 128% with a 4 year old in the background constantly yelling oooOOOOOOOoooooooOOOOOOOOOOooooOOOoooOOoOoOo takes RPE from 10/10 to about 37/10 ![]()
um…WOW
Just negotiated a new car for my son for $25k and that’s the one that’s loaded with packages. The base model would be about 21k$. We have to start saying that bikes are the same price as new cars instead of motorcycles now.
Dealer: are you financing the vehicle?
Me: would you take 2 trek and a specialized? ![]()
An S-Works Epic for $9k?
SAVING $6,000 on a top of the line MTB?
please cross-post to the deals thread - sounds like an incredible steal!!!
I would 100% opt in to feedback by Meme! ![]()
We are doomed
After a particularly hilly ride that was (predictably) way slower than (my) normal pan-flat or trainer ride.
There, I said it.
To expand, up until today I didn’t care either way. I didn’t see any drawbacks to hookless but at the same time I didn’t really see any benefits. But swapping tires today and having to spend 20 minutes cleaning up the old sealant gunk stuck up under the hook, I see the biggest (only) benefit of hookless. They’re just way easier to clean when swapping tires. Quick 30 second wipe and all the sealant is gone. The hooks really trap all the old sealant. Couldn’t figure out why my tires keep losing all the air from the bead. Hookless for the win.
Jokes on you, I don’t have a dentist. ![]()
