As an Audax rider, my Garmin is set to Kilometers and i convert everything to miles whilst riding takes my mind of headwinds, Sometimes fun to say 1760 Yards in a mile which you then convert to 5280 feet.

I love people who just use everything…like the rider who’s 1 fathom tall, weighs 13 stone and usually takes 2x 500ml bottles on a 85km ride where they average 18.5 mph unless the wind is more than 6.4 knots.

I am thinking of making a bike computer that you can choose any units you like. First of all i am bring back the good old Cubits and the good old Chain, if you like you can select the perch, pole or rod.
I am also thinking of keeping things simple. It will give you the time you started riding the finish time . You know the distance because you ridden the same ride so many times, you then just work it out yourself the average speed.
