Hah! Around here it’s chipmunks. I saw one do a revolution on a road bike wheel and shoot out the other side. Occasionally they don’t survive and rarely will take a rider down if they don’t time the ride well enough and get run over. They are apparently squishy at high speeds…

Squirrel?! Did someone say squirrel? Allow me to present the ACORN and its critical squirrel scouts.
This model was “developed” in 2007 following a Turkish report that Iranians “captured” 14 “spy squirrels”:
Iranian police has captured 14 “spy squirrels” equipped with modern technology including GPS units, cameras, and listening devices.
The report said that the squirrels that were trained for espionage and information-gathering, are believed to be sent to Iran by Israel.
