Hi, I’ve not had a great experience with my first Custom built workout as the ERG power glitched and stayed high after both hard blocks (just where you don’t want it glitch!). It only normalised correctly when I stopped pedaling. Is this a known issue?
This is usually some kind of signal interference - I cant think of a reason why it should be specific to a custom workout.
First thing to do is make sure no other devices, or applications on those devices, could be fighting for control of the trainer.
So there was another laptop nearby, I’m not sure it was on the same wifi though… could be as simple as that?
If you were running the workout from a laptop then it could even be the TR app on your phone if you have it installed.
Even when it’s just running in the background it’s looking for your sensors - so make sure that’s closed.
If you message support they can actually integrate your logs and tell you if there were any signal interruptions.
I have got a feeling they are a little snowed under with the new release but their response times are usually “phenomenally good” - now they might be more “average”.
Hey @barney76 ![]()
I took a look at that ride’s log data and you have about 9 connectivity interruptions to you KICKR Core, so let’s try running through these TB steps: Bluetooth Smart (4.0) Troubleshooting
As @kevistraining already mentioned, "make sure no other devices, or applications on those devices, could be fighting for control of the trainer" is a big one!
Ok so the customer service response is still “phenomenally good” - fair play ![]()
