Workout targeting incorrect power when in ERG

Odd scenario last night:

The blip a few minutes in was me turning ERG off & playing with resistance mode to try and fix it.

ERG was on throughout the entire duration, but was targeting 20W higher than the workout requirements.

Never had the software do this before, anyone else had the same ?

You may be running into a power floor. A power floor (also known as a “wattage floor”) in ERG mode on an indoor trainer refers to

the minimum amount of resistance or power a smart trainer can apply at a given flywheel speed. When the target power for a workout interval (such as a low-wattage recovery period) is lower than this physical limit, the trainer cannot drop its resistance any further, causing the actual power output to remain higher than the target

Ive seen wattage minimums come up before, but on a KickR Core, 150W seems a very high lower limit

Maybe, but perhaps possible if using a high gear (50x11 or similar).

Using Zwift ride, cog and KickR core so a 42x14 ratio.

Had to go back a few months, but the same setup managed this: Smoother and much lower

@G7NXX, by looking at the ride logs it appears to be a connectivity issue with the BLE that has resolved on the following workouts.

Thanks for checking.

It has worked fine since, will see if it happens again at any point.
