Catching up to plan

So i had to skip a couple of workouts the last days. I’m on the ssb2 lv, and consider myself to be in ok shape. What do you think about "catching " up to plan by doing four workouts per week until i’m on schedule again, rather than postponing the entire plan?

Are you tied to an event in the future? Or are you flexible- if the latter, I’d just start where you left off. If you’ve an event, then you could catch up, but this would have to be matched with adequate rest.
