Advice for 2019 after a frustrating plateau year

Could use some advice as I start my off-season after a frustrating year of training, where I felt like I couldn’t break past a plateau. Some background. I am entering my 3rd year of training with TR, 4 total on the bike. Mid 40s, 70kg @ 5’ 11", FTP plateau of 185-200w. Train on average 6-7 hours/week. 90% bike, 10% gym. Breaking through an FTP Plateau

Hi Folks I’ve hit an F.T.P ‘plateau’. My FTP is ‘stuck’ at 270 watts. I completed SSB Medium Volume. Moved on to a ‘build’ phase - Sustained power build, Medium Volume, but cant complete the workouts. I basically ‘cracked’ after about a week and a half of the plan, and am now just picking out the odd workout that appeals. What should I do? Start plan again but reduce intensity by a few % from the get go? Start the plan again but skip some workouts? Try a different ‘build’ plan? Return to the …

10 year Plateau

New to TR and just started a mid build plan Nov 6th followed by mid rolling road. Due to the nature of my work schedule I have large blocks of riding followed by large blocks of not riding. The result is relatively high valleys and low peaks. I’m hoping the structure of completing the workouts in the plans will break through this 10+ year plateau as I’ve never done an indoor routine like this until now.
