I have been doing a trainer road plan for a few months. I do the workouts on Zwift and then associate them with the TR workout for that day. However, I still can’t run AI FTP because it says I need more indoor TR workouts. Are only workouts recorded with TR app used for AI FTP detection? Am I missing out on other features on the backend by only recording “associated” rides?
You need 10 indoors rides recorded using the TR app for their ai ftp to work. After that you don’t need to do any more using their app and can use zwift or outside rides.

Thanks! Do you know if I could just record 10 one minute rides in a row or do they need to be something specific? I wonder if it needs this data for something or if it is just an arbitrary restriction.

Maybe the full integration with Zwift that we are told TR is working on (with a January target release date) will fix this?
i.e. that workouts sent to Zwift via that integration will count as TR indoor workouts for things like AIFTP
Nice, I didn’t realize that was on the roadmap. Seems like that could fix it.

The integration with Zwift will make it so that TR Workouts completed in Zwift will count towards AI FTP Detection
