Golf pro in the UK, had bad golfers elbow when at Uni (20 years ago) and almost lost a year to it. Tried all sorts of things and was close to going down the surgery route but a chance encounter with a Bowen Therapist and 4 sessions and 5 weeks later I was back playing golf.
They basically said that I wasn’t strong enough to hit balls all day, so I had to strengthen, stretch (hand flat to the wall) and then after activity soak in apple cider vinegar wraps to stop inflammation. I still stretch and go to the gym 3 times a week and have never had a problem since.
Does cycling aggravate it? The only two times that it has just made itself aware to me has been riding rather than actually golfing. The first doing downhill in the alps, I spoke to a local guide who said get fatter grips on my mtb and move the brake bite point closer to the bar and that fixed that. The other doing the Fred Whitton (crap roads) after this I made my road bike grips thicker and although never tested it on the same route feels better.
I wouldn’t class myself as the Holistic healing type but at the time I was desperate and it sorted me out.
