AI changes the recommended workout to fast

I had a free day today, but wanted to ride a bit. So I asked TR for a workout. It recommanded Leavitt -5. Ok, added it to the calendar, waited till it synched with Zwift and rode it.

Afterwards I went to TR to see what the effect was. TR had no associated workout. It had changed the planned workout to a lighter endurance workout, colored the day red, and insisted on a restday. With some trouble I could insist on not resting, changing the workout back to Leavitt -5 and associating this workout with the training I did. Had to reenter the RPE, as this was lost as well.

I have had now severel times that TR synched a training to Zwift, and after I did the workout, TR was unable to associate a training with it. The changing of the workout to another one, and the panicking to status red is new though.

This has been a bug/issue through the beta that TR have thought they squashed on a few occasions only for it to some back - definitely not intended behaviour. Tagging @SeanHurley for awareness

For the red day, feel free to delete the non-associated workout, it’ll fix it, or it’ll fix when that workout is marked uncompleted at midnight

@Redmeijer does this only happen when you schedule TR Workouts when using TrainNow?

If so, can you point me to the other examples you have experienced this same behavior?

I am actually not quite sure…

Had a regular sceduled workout planned yesterday, but rode a Zwift ride instead. I think TR both changed the workout, and told me that the day should be a rest day (and colored the next day - today - yellow). But right now the workout I didn’t do isn’t on the calendar anymore. Not is any rest recommendation for yesterday, but that is logical. Today is still yellow, but that is fair, it was a hard ride yesterday.

An earlier ride I did at the 20th of januari was a workout added to the calendar, not a Train Now planned workout (Davis, as warm up). After finishing the workout on Zwift (and being asked to give it a score), the result didn’t associate with the planned workout, even though it was named correctly. This was before the latest update though, so I don’t know if that is still relevant. And I didn’t take notes, so I am not absolute sure I remember correct. I will inform you if I encounter this - or like - behaviour again.

Hello,

Got the same behaviour today. Had an AI plan workout today. Raimond -1. Did it on Zwift, finished it, did the questionaire regarding how hard it was. Back on TR it does not associate the finished training with the workout, though this time there is no RPE on the finished training, and the (unfinished) workout has a “hard” RPE (which I added in Zwift after completion).

The icons tell that the training is synched by way of Zwift (I also have them on Garmin Connect, but that hasn’t arrived yet).

TR still expects me to do Raymond -1, but hasn’t switched it for an other training this time (maybe because this day isn’t red, or even yellow, yet…) but has, not surprisingly, made tomorrow a red day.

I could associate the two by hand, but will let them be, so you can take a look, if that helps.

Bertram

They are associated now. Did you do this manually since posting, or did it happen on its own?

Sorry, did this manually earlier today. TR was changing the workouts in the future (and lowering my FTP prediction by 2 W), probably due to the double training yesterday and the fact that I missed one training of the plan.
