I have been having an issue for the past few months where when I have a bad week, my adaptations for the next week just get harder. I failed my last 4 intensity workouts and barely made it through today (rating it an all out), yet my calendar said “adaptations pending” and proceeded to recommend workouts with more TSS. I am starting to get the feeling that AI is just saying “the beatings will continue until moral improves”, and I for one, am absolutely beat down.
That doesn’t sound right, I’d get in touch with TR support and ask them to take a look.

Can you point me to the specific workouts that were getting harder? I took a look at the backend data and the system is reading that you struggled with them. For example, per your Calendar I see the plan gave you lower level Threshold workouts.
It also looks like you rebuilt the plan, but gave it a new start date on March 20th. Prior to this I see 5 weeks of training with no real recovery. It looks like you had a recovery week on Feb. 24th, but there were additional workouts + 1 SS workout so you didn’t get proper rest here.
I have a feeling your actually struggling to complete workouts because you haven’t properly rested and fatigued. The combination of not taking that recovery week on February and rebuilding the plan with a new start date on the 20th has you running on 9 full training weeks until April 7th (your next Recovery Week).

I think I will take a full rest week and get back to you in April. I will take the blame for confusing the algorithm and hopefully some actual rest will result in more passed workouts
