Hello all.
I’m in the Specialty Phase of the CX plan with five weeks to go and three CX races left on my calendar.
Today I got an AIFTP detection of 1.3% increase. Normally I take I accept what AIFTP give me unless it feels off but I declined it this time because I’m in Specialty Phase and my season is almost wrapping up.
At the end of the season I was going to accept whatever FTP is assigned and go from there.
Now was this the right choice during Specialty?
I have been getting through my workouts and still enjoy the bike but I can feel that mentally I’m going to need a break. I wasn’t sure if an increase in FTP and harder workouts would have helped.
