24 Hours in the Old Pueblo - 4Training plan

Hello all,

I probably should have posted this back in September when I created my training plan for the 24HOP, but putting thou out for input 38 days away…although the plan seems to be going well, wanted to see if I set up my training plan appropriately. Although this is my 8th year in a row of doing this event, it is the first time I did a “structured” training plan.

I am part of a 4-man open team.

When I created my plan, I set it up as follows:
Event Type: Stage Race
Target Discipline: Cross Country Olympic
Race - A Most important Event (all stages)

I also used my previous lap averages (1:20) as my Duration

Probably too late to adjust, but did I do this correctly? If not, what would have been the correct way of setting this training plan?

Thanks in advance…I appreciate any constructive input…

I’d say this looks pretty good to me!

Thanks, eddie…I would have expected some longer 2-3 hour rides in the plan to account for the 6+ hours in the saddle (at higher intensities) over 24 hours.

I just sent you a DM. You can change your schedule to allow for longer workouts if you’d like! :+1:
