2024 SRAM Force AXS Left Shifter -> No worky - Quality Pattern Issues?

I have two 2024 (new model type) SRAM Force AXS left shifters (1x12) not working. Yes, I tried all SRAM web recommendations to fix. The button on the left shifter feels squishy. It clicks sometimes. I did wreak on this bike. The shifter worked post-crash for two months. I though oh well. So, I purchased a new left shifter at 385 bucks. I had the new shifter on the bike about 7 months. The shifter stopped working 20 miles into a 33 miles gravel ride with hills. Stuck in one of the hardest gears. Two shifters going bad both have same feel. Squishy button. Yes, new non child proof batteries. Yes, they are put in right. Yes, rear Eagle XX1 derailleur is charged 100%. I tried repairing shifter to derailleur. The green light on shifter never lights up. No communication. AXS app doesn’t help. Two bad shifters is a pattern. The right shifter is paired and works great. I plan on going down the part warrantee route (less than two years) through my purchase location JensonUSA. Anyone have this issue or heard of such quality issues?

I have built 3 bikes all SRAM in the last two year and replaced one of the bikes with E1 Rival shifters. Never had the problem nor have I heard it on here.

you checked all the boxes, only advise would be the warranty path

That’s the path I’m going down. I did post to SRAM too. The old Test Manager in me would love to take both apart and reduce down root cause for sure / possible lose connections or micro switch in the shifter. Are they both same lot number off manufacture line? Inquiring minds want to know.

Have you replaced the battery in the shifter for a new one and one without any sort of bitter coating?

I had a similar issue with a new rival shifter and that fix worked.

I had my the same thing happen to my SRAM force left shifter. It just died one day and wasn’t the battery (none of the online fixes worked). I hardly used it since it was on my trainer most of the year in erg mode. I ended up just putting on a blip because I didn’t want to pay for a new shifter (out of warranty).
