As one of the organisers of the event, that is a 100% Disaster Planning Team approved recovery drink.

I didn’t notice, but caught the PC info bug because I grabbed the screenie too soon.

I replaced it with the right info.

:joy:

I had maybe 1/4 of that, and was still fully fueled. I tend to over prepare

Might just need to be the base for a new motto on next years t-shirt.

Well had to cut disaster -2 a little short today but it is all good.

Turned the first sweet spot down 10% on the last 3 min and kept that for the second one. Turned it back up to 100% for the rest of the time. Felt pretty good but definitely could tell I have not been drinking enough water lately.

Thanks Chad for putting together and congrats to all that took this on.

Done -2 and it was not very hard but for sure the extra time in each interval 25% in - 1 and 50% in the big disaster are killers. Won’t imagine myself hanging in those vo2s much more time.

Didn’t have a great day, knew I was in trouble on the first threshold interval. Hung in with 12 short backpedals/stop pedals, one nature break during big castle, and changing to standard mode from erg to avoid death spirals in VO2 and left it there. So not quite as planned. You could say I got dropped off the back, but still finished.

Had 4 bottles skratch, 2 honey stinger gels, 1/3 clif bar, 5 oz maple syrup.

Disaster -1; glad to be done. It was hard, but not as hard as I had built it up in my mind. I knew the sprints near the end would be really hard since I don’t have a sprint. I did the first half of the sprint intervals in ERG mode, but found the sweet spot intervals were getting too spinny on my Hammer, so I switched to standard mode and found it better to work with. I also did the middle endurance section in standard. Congrats to everyone who participated! Now where’s my shirt?

All ready order.

Did some quick skimming of the Disaster versions. Note that it’s not including those with Private account settings.

Full D has over 40 just today. Didn’t look earlier in the week.

-1 over 10.

-2 over 30.

That’s bigger numbers than I would have guessed. Maybe over 100 workouts for all 3 versions.

Not sure why I did it. But I did it.

Sorry, I should have included  : I ordered my shirt a while back, but according to DHL, it’s somewhere between Illinois and my home just outside of Winnipeg.

First attendance for me at the WD Day. Logistics, namely two small children and a wife that was out with friends most of the afternoon, meant I could only commit to the -2 version. All in all, reasonable, which is the word I think Chad used last pod or so. Still, had me hurting considerably by the tempo block and those 8 second sprint efforts. Can’t imagine the hurt some of you put yourself through with the bigger and badder ones! Major, major kudos.

This brings me waaaay back to the days of Sufferfest+TR with the Tour of Sufferlandria. :relieved:

Here’s an idea for the workout text: Instead of having @chad dream up workout text for four hours, why not use it to give honorary mentions fir those who completed the full? 4:15 of misery for a lifetime of TR fame!

Along those lines, I’m half tempted to pull the good stuff from the Discord chat and effectively crowd source it.

Just a matter to time and some work, but it might be nice to have in there.

I like this idea a lot.
