Whiskey does not make you faster

Can you remember exactly where the air bnb was? That’s really close to me👍

I can also confirm that multiple pints of Guinness also does not make you faster…in fact after drinking them last night I’m needing to miss my planned workout tonight as still suffering! First missed workout in ages, gutted really as consistency is the key!!!

Thought I might find @AndyGajda, @willball12, @themagicspanner and @gvmcd in here!

All you stateside folks, you have a library of information available to you here on proper Whisky  Please don’t call it ‘Scotch’

Best thing about our distilleries is you can get round most of them by bike!

Pappy is a BOURBON

I stare at this shelf every workout (crap fan on left), so I beg to differ…I think I’m getting faster!

Drinking shelf shown (whisky and whiskey and bourbon). Collecting shelf not worthy for our eyes.

I know. And Bourbon is a type of whiskey.

Are you trying to be a mis-informed liquor snob, or did you just learn something?

Enjoy your drink :tumbler_glass: I’m enjoying mine :+1:

It was on Milton of Culloden, with a nice view of the Moray Firth

I’m from Kentucky - we don’t disgrace our bourbons by calling them whiskey.

I’m in Kentucky right now…just took a poll of the folks in the bar. They all seem good with it

Watching “The Outlaw King” about Robert The Bruce on Netflix right now. All this talk about scotch has me thinking I’ll turn it off and save it. At just over two hours this’ll be a perfect movie to watch for Gibbs on Sunday.

The frame bag is a good start, but I think you need some additional cage mounts for purchases along the way on that ride. One on the underside of the down tube, one on each fork leg, two in a behind-the-saddle mount. That would allow you to pick up half a dozen bottles, and still carry enough water to add a spash to release the aroma.

Good stuff…not too pricey.

So glad I have a non discriminating palate…black velvet is fine here.

I too have set a lifetime 15 min pr after a hard night if drinking and a solid hangover…it was crazy! Is this a thing?

I know exactly where you are! We’re up the top of the hill nearer the battlefield👍

The Lezyne stuff caddy perfectly accomodates a bottle of Islay’s finest…

Speaking of Bunnahabhain, I’ve still got the remains of a bottle of the cruach-mhona I bought in '11. After getting a little more in to some of the peated whisky it is starting to dwindle…

Get it down yr neck! Once a bottle is 3/4 full or below, you may as well just throw a party and get it finished… then buy a new sealed bottle  Oxidation is always a good excuse to A) Drink the whisky and B) Buy more whisky.
