Which event for Randoneurring brevets

There’s some good advice in THIS thread, stage race seems correct, that’s what I’ve done. I’ve found that the ‘stock’ plans are a fair bit low on volume and you may want to consider how to deal with that. With the upcoming shiny new update that’s about to drop this might not be as much of an issue. You could consider going for one of the General Fitness in Plan Builder rather than a specific event, Audax is more about good all round fitness and a strong mentality rather than a race specific type of fitness. From most of the posts I’ve read, one VO2 and one Threshold/Sweetspot workout per week and the rest of your training Zone 2 / Endurance is what most people recommend.
