Ok makes sense. Thanks
Makes sense what you’re saying. It’s a cold winter where I am. Normally I love 2+ hr easy outdoor rides which would work better for my plan. Being on the trainer for a 2 hr endurance ride is so hard for me lol
Adaptive training does give you proper recovery rides when it needs to.
It was cross with me for a 4 hr relatively high paced ride on Saturday, so I got a red day for Sunday and a yellow day for Monday.
I moved an endurance workout to Monday but it adapted it down to ‘lazy mountain’ which is a proper recovery ride.
Just remember that on a 5-day-a-week masters plan you have two “endurance” rides and one “easy” ride in your weekly schedule. It might help to organize these in a way that places the easy ride after one hard workout and a rest day after the other as shown below.
Those endurance workouts have a different goal than the easy rides.
Additionally, I see that you have a lot of workouts on your calendar that appear to be hand-picked and don’t follow the plan. As some others have mentioned on here, I’ll echo that it’s better to follow the workouts we’re prescribing as they are specific to the discipline of your plan. As you complete them, we’ll adapt your future workouts based on your performance and post-workout survey.
Changing your workouts too far down the road isn’t super wise as you don’t know how your next performance might affect what you should actually be doing a few days from now. That’s the beauty of adaptive plans – you just need to focus on one day at a time and we’ll adapt things along the way.
Yeah you can, I have a bunch saved: Feature request: Sync favorite workouts across platforms [RELEASED! ✅]
Just hit the star on the right hand corner of the workout to add to favorite.
Super easy
Do you have a specific goal event set in the workout builder ? Sounds like it is starting to ramp you up towards peak
Just looking to get faster and be part of the “A” group this summer. No races or anything serious. I do also love long group rides and Centuries so any improvement in fitness will make those more enjoyable.
Wow never knew that. Thank you.
