Juneau -2, pretty tough but completed 100%.
Back in the gym with a 35-min warmup before lifting weights. Yay for Stages indoor bikes at the gym! Remembered my HR monitor this time ![]()
Another month of aerobic capacity work, another bump in Efficiency Factor (power / heart rate). That puts me back to where I was a year ago, not too shabby with extended time off this summer ![]()
Let it go. I would chase it if you were not finishing often. I’ve gotten my revenge on certain workouts, some of those were mental toughness hurdles I needed to get past, I don’t think that’s your case. ![]()

Love the sweet spot! Probably a fair bit of tempo in there at this point. Recovery week coming up & ramp test next Sunday. SSBMV2+ is going to chew me up & spit me out. vo2max gives me fits ![]()
Good ol recovery week long ride…one more of those tomorrow and its off to SSBII MV
Was nice to catch up on some tv
Got a cold. Did the +1 version of the scheduled ride with double the time at 105%. Consequently (it felt like) my hardest TR ride so far. Thankfully it went fairly quick and I tacked 5 mins on the end sipping a coffee. Ate a burger.
Also just realised this is the Saturday ride on week 5, so I’m in for this again in 2 weeks. Maybe I’ll knock up the % ![]()
Nice job. Savage.
Outdoor workout today based on brasstown 1:30. I knew I could not follow is 100% due to the hills/rollers, etx but it was fun regardless. Had to cut it slightly short as it was getting dark. Feeling a lot stronger and time for the ftp test as the kick off of ssblv2.
Mountain bike ride followed by an extra hour of Z2 on the rollers.
Burning off the Thanksgiving calories.

STOVER!! You’re a local, I know a bunch of guys around that area! ![]()
@Cleanneon98 just dropped you a PM about DCR analysis assistance ![]()
Another 83Mins@91% and a total off 415Min of sweetspot work(814TSS) in 1st week SSBHV2, happy for a good week, but will be tough to raise the next 4 weeks now.
I was supposed to do Hunter today which is 2 hours and composed of 3x20 at 88-92%, but I only had 1.5 hours available. I decided to do Hunter -4 instead because it’s only 1.5 hours - 6 x 10min at 88%.
My legs felt good from the first few minutes so I just did the whole thing at 93% with no breaks - 73 min of SS. I felt great the whole way!
I had Hunter up for today. But I got a flat at around the halfway point of the first interval, so had to call it a day… Well, gotta fix things and do the Bluebell tomorrow…

Turbo appears to of handled this one better than I expected. Not to stressful and quite enjoyed it. Onwards.
Hunter -2 today to finish up week 2 of SSBHV1. Knocked it out a bit earlier than usual, felt nice to be done before lunchtime and have the whole day to relax.
