What workout did you do today? (2018/2019)

Wright Peak with a tyre blowout at 1 hour 21 mins! Went off like a shotgun!

Flattop
I’m covered in salt after this one and I would like to go back to bed.

image Using Powermatch for the first time and realising that my trainer had been overstating my prowess all this time :sob:

WASHINGTON +4 WOW that was hard , 5 times 7 min at 105% ( i am toast :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:) happy to have completed this one though.

Holy cadence sensor on the fritz batman

Also, because i talked with wifey too much, ended up being later than i wanted. So i rushed putting the trainer tire back on…i guess i wasnt careful enough to check the bead around the whole tire. Rode carillon through the first interval, started feeling something off when the resistance went back up. Looked back at the tire and i could see something was off, and then as i tried to get off the bike…POP

By that time it was too late to remove wheel and tire AGAIN and finish the workout.
Would you guys just skip the workout, or shift the week’s work by 1 day? (next week is recovery ride week)

The gym was blooming warm tonight

Yeah that’s the current revised plan. I had completed the -5 version last week, so I know I can do the first two intervals without issue. That said my heart rate was considerably higher yesterday than it was last week during the -5 variant so something was definitely off yesterday. Could be any number of things.

Ebbetts tonight, extended by 30min of easy spinning as I had to skip Pettit yesterday.

Eclipse -3 + butter - good to get some longer SS intervals under the belt. Legs feeling it, not sure how Clark will go down tomorrow.

Permission to skip it - not given

The week before rest week is when the good feelings of speed and achievement come together! You’ve got to give this another go!

Antelope plus 30 minutes of easy endurance work at 60%. I’m loving sweet spot work, but it’s only week one of SSB…ask me in 3 months how I feel :grinning:

I’m in a 2nd week of SSBV1… Antelope for tonight after work… scary…

Carter nice and easy

4 hour block of aerobic endurance

Carson tonight…

This is my first trip thru TR, so I’m going SSB1-LV to start. I’ve been doing structured training outdoors for a couple of years, but at no time was I doing this much regular SS work. I’m just a couple weeks in - each day, I expect it to be the day I’ll be too tired to see it thru, but so far so good.

Looking to gradually work in outdoor aerobic rides to bring my weekly load up to ~8 hours / 400-500 TSS while making sure that completing the structured work gets top priority.

75mins @ 85-90%. Still felt like I was carrying some fatigue, so this probably felt a touch harder than it should have done

No issues. Easier on my legs than my head. I think I’m getting stronger.

Jepson - Found the first set of sprints very hard but settled into in. I’m having to reign in my cadence a bit, I’m usually a grinder but I’m up a 95 the whole time now.

I took on Black Kaweah last night followed by Taku. I really only have 2 more weeks of cross and the season is over (no Nationals for me), which is good cause I’m really getting tired of VO2Max efforts.

I’m ready for some gravel and endurance mountain bike events.

I was supposed to do a run today but I really just wanted to ride so I did an hour in the morning and two in the afternoon #justoneofthosedays
