What watches do you guys wear?

I use the Fenix 6 Sapphire, and love it. There’s nothing this watch can’t do. I use it to track swim and running workouts, outdoor bike rides, open water swimming, hiking, etc. It never failed me. A couple of friends of mine try to do the same with Apple Watches, and the tracking is always messed up in some way.

That dial and hour hand design is :100:

Thanks, I like a lot too! Actually the dial used to be blue but got washed out from the sun into this bronze-like color. I like it much better than the original one and had to make sure they would not replace the dial last time I sent it in for service :-).

I just love my Polar Grit X.

Quite Seamaster-y…

I’ve pretty much put all my other watches in storage since I picked up an Overseas when the last refresh came out in 2016.

Is this WorkoutUSeek forum? :grinning:

Boy, my good old(kinda) Nomos Tangomat. But it’s been a while since it was on my wrist. These days Apple Watch SE is my daily watch. Garmin watch might be better for workout, but AW is one that looks beautiful

Not sure if posted above (have not read all). But Garmin is likely to update the Fenix series in the not too distant future. No real indications as to when, guess it could be this autumn or early 2022. But the series 6 has been out for a while and the latest update was very modest (solar).

My 920xt is on its last legs (barometer packed in and GPS pairing getting pretty slow). There are some decent deals on watches atm. I can get a Fenix 6 Pro for €409 and a 945 for about €20-30 more. It would be mostly for swims, runs and triathlons (I use a for 530 for the bike).

Are there any downsides to getting the Fenix? I know it’s slightly bulkier. Does it get in the way of the wetsuits etc?

I tend not to wear a watch during the day, so aesthetics aren’t all that important to me.

Forgive the thread hijack😅.

Fenix 6S (the slightly smaller face). Love mine.

Nice, I just ordered a Fenix 6S Sapphire to replace my 5s (non-sapphire). I put a screen protector on the 5s but it constantly gets cracked. I’ve never had this issue with other watches I’ve worn, so I decided to finally upgrade to the Sapphire version while the prices are low.

Omega Seamaster. So classic it doesn’t need a photo. Even naked, with a Seamaster you’re still well dressed

I have the 6S Pro and it’s been great, at all tri activities/distances.

Thanks @JoeX and @Jack_Russell_Racing I’ll check out the pricing b on the 6S so, seems like a good option :+1:.

Commented a while back but our interests are constantly changing. I’ve since canceled my Whoop subscription with the horrible release of the 4.0 and am now sleeping in and wearing Apple Watch during exercise which is, fine I guess.

For those with a Wahoo head unit and a sports watch, what are you wearing? Garmin clearly seems to be the leader here and the cheapest entry point that will accept a power meter seems to be the 745. Am I missing anything?

The Garmin options all look great but come at a cost and interfere with the Wahoo head unit, not sure that I want to, or have the ability right now to switch to Garmin there and buy a watch. Rival looks not to be an option without the 24/7 monitoring, no sleep tracking and no recovery info.

Open to thoughts and suggestions here.

Been loving my F6X for 1.5+ years now and the best watch I have ever had. I am a Garmin user for a long time. Only take it off to charge every 20 days or so.

Same! I’ve been wearing a fenix 5 or fenix 6 nonstop for about 3 years. I only take it off to charge while I riding inside (while also dual recording). I love it!
