What happened to Sprint Interval Training?

It appears SIT has been removed from the workout filters with the update to Trainerroad AI.

And I do find old Sprint workouts (e.g. Charing*) but they’re listed as “Sprint 0.0”

Is this temporary or are they going away? Some other reason for this?

I liked the brutal efficiency of SIT on occasion. It’s disappointing they’re not easy to locate any more.

it is really confusing

Maybe has something to do with the new “Active Recovery” zone which is mentioned in the workout here (even though these are not found under that filter).

@Caro.Gomez-Villafane I guess that’s something for support to check

Maybe. Though I definitely wouldn’t want to confuse SIT with Active recovery

Hey y’all,

Sprint workouts aren’t going away, but Sprint as a standalone zone has been removed with the new updates. We’ll work on adding an easier way to find these workouts in the coming weeks.

Also, sprint workouts displaying “Active Recovery” and 0.0 scores are known bugs that we’re working on fixing.

Sorry for the confusion!

Just wanted to add to Eddie’s post that Anaerobic workouts cover similar training goals!

Possibly, but reason why I like SIT, is different – I usually do 2-3 week SIT block at the beginning of new year as mental refresher (long chill recovery periods + 30s max effort bursts) before starting real plan to improve endurance.

Anaerobic attacks are more serious work, not as relaxed
