I tried my new castelli bib longs today as being it was unseasonably mild they were the perfect weight. 111miles later I can confirm they were ideal for today’s average temperature of 9deg C. I reckon they’ll be good for temperatures below that too but today’s ride was a neutral effort ride as it was a spur of the moment choice and I only had 1 bottle for what I originally planned (Circa 50miles).

Yup, all fine with me and bike, thanks for asking! Just need to be patient for the bone to heal properly. No surgery needed, on the 5th week now with the sling should take a couple more before starting physiotherapy.
