I have a kickr core, and like the others, my fans and drivetrain are each louder than the kickr.
I’m in a hotel on the top (third) floor the next seven weeks. Kickr Core set up. They put me in a corner room so only possible to bother one person below me, fortunately. I asked for first floor but none available. We’ll see… not worried about the noise, just the vibration through the floor. Since I’m a morning guy, that’s not going to go well if it’s loud for those below me.
I’ll report back in a few weeks!

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but why is the small chain ring quieter?
Is there a difference between the noise level of the 18 and the core?
The small chainring would make the trainer quieter because the flywheel would be spinning slower. Thus less vibrations and all that.

Not really they both use the same mechanism. Horse mat between floor and trainer go a long way for killing vibration
