Wahoo bolt behaving oddly - ideas?

So my ride this evening was uneventful. When I got home, my bolt synced with my iPhone app as normal but no ‘map’ of my route appeared (screen shots below).

It’s recorded the distance and average speed but doesn’t seem to have captured anything else.

Clicking on the ride to open shows nothing.

Even stranger the upload to Strava shows a completely different speed?

Looks as if Strava has taken account of ‘stopped’ time in calculating the average?

Only thing I can think is there was an ‘update’ that happened earlier today to the software?

I’m going to raise a ticket with Wahoo; but thought I’d ask on here in case anyone knew a quick fix?

There definitely was an update today and it had quite a few changes including some to support the new Bolt v2: https://support.wahoofitness.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000410550-ELEMNT-BOLT-Firmware-Updates

So I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a new bug. I don’t have much to add except to thank you for posting, because I’m going to hold off on applying this update now! I’d definitely recomment reporting it to them.

Another thought, is there an update for the iOS app too? Maybe one is needed to go hand in hand with the new firmware, so that’s worth checking.

Got around it by manually lifting the fit file from the bolt and then uploading his Strava off my desktop

Looks like the Bolt-App connection is buggered by the recent update

I’ll wait to see what the ticket I raised with Wahoo reveals …

I’ve noticed my wahoo isnt syncing to strava lately. Super weird as it’s been incredibly reliable up until Sunday.
