Thanks, same to you! I think the podcast addressed your concerns in the last episode (maybe the one before that). There are many more people on this forum more qualified than me to give advice, but I typically focus on one or the other. If I’m trying to drop a couple of pounds, I accept that I’m going to (at best) maintain fitness. If I’m focused on getting faster, fuel the workouts and eat high-quality calories off the bike. Easier said than done most of the time.
