Training plan with additional rides/racing

Hello from Australia Trainerroad team,

having recently signed up to your program as I was sick of getting dropped in my recent masters races here on the Gold Coast after moving up a grade (to B) and am looking forward to using your structured workouts. Up until Xmas I had been averaging approximately 200Klms per week with over 2,000m climbing in total.

My question is what would be consequence of racing (Wednesday & Sunday) whilst undertaking the training training program. These races are usually not more than an hour in duration with one on a lat profile and the other on a short hilly crit track. I understand that any additional riding/racing will have an impact on my weekly TSS but seeking some guidance as to how to manage this. I was thinking to commence on the Low Volume Sweet spot base 1 as a beginning point after I complete my ramp test. I’m 48 years old, 97kgs at 186cms with last year having completed a smidge over 7,000klms ridden with over 100Klms in elevation gain over those rides. Many thanks
