There are two new features to do with longer workouts getting automatically scheduled….

There’s the Workout Extension setting mentioned in Nate’s post that you were responding to - this allows the system to automatically schedule longer workouts once you’re maxing out WLs in a zone.

And there’s also the Dynamic Endurance feature being previewed in the following thread:

With this feature, instead of you entering a specific fixed duration for an Endurance workout/ride when building your plan or adding something to your Calendar, you specify Dynamic duration and a maximum amount of time. The system then decides the duration of these rides so as to extend time in zone up to the max duration you gave it. To address your question, this automatic build-out of Endurance duration does not require your Endurance ALs to have become maxed out - it happens at normal levels, like in the promo image in the opening post of the thread I’ve linked to.
