Same issue here.
I can’t figure out a specific sequence of actions that trigger the behavior
- I opened the app this morning and it popped right open.
- Closed it then reopened. It popped right up. Closed again.
- tried to open again. Loading message then blank. Repeated that a couple times with same behavior
- Waited a bit and reopened fine
There’s no specific pattern to it that I can tell.

in addition to difficulties to load the app, I have also noticed while doing the workout no sound notification while switched on another app, but sound would play once we switch back to TR App.
I use airpods, not sure if that makes a difference, I haven’t tried to reproduce without it, but it was working well before, meaning I could browse another app and still hear TR sounds notifying a step change

Hey all. Apologies and thanks for the patience. Our engineers are working on this right now.
We believe this issue is now resolved.
I’ve been having problems opening the app for a few days now, ongoing as of right now.
Gets stuck on ‘loading’ or resolves eventually to a blank black screen. I can swipe the black screen and get the menu.
- Latest download from the App Store,
- iPhone 16 pro,
- iOS 26.4.2
Still having the issue this morning. App loaded on iPad and iPhone before workout. Completed workout using iPad, rated workout, chose “Got It” and then the app got stuck loading and went blank. Tried to open app on iPhone and it got stuck loading. Restarted both devices and was able to load the app on both.
I have the same. Phone restart fixed it

Same thing for me. It just says loading and then black screen on iPhone app.
On Desktop app (Mac) after a workout, it doesn’t “complete” either. I don’t get the post workout survey and then it only shows me the next workout; doesn’t open calendar or another menu options.
