i’m confused. i have my Ai suggested plan workout, then the Ai suggested train now workouts. 3 totally different workouts. how? surely if the plan is a 105 min threshold workout, then suggesting i can do any of these, means i can just wing it?
Different systems to an extent. Trainnow is looking back at your history only and suggesting what could be good for you today, based on what you’ve done, so good for people who are not following a plan.
Whereas your AI plan is putting suggestions in the context of your future schedule too - so the threshold workout it suggests will be different to Trainnow because it’s looking at your VO2 workout you’ve got planned in a couple of days, for example, and making sure what you do today aligns with the work you’ve got coming up.
Personally I tend to be using a plan during the winter and into early spring, but then use Trainnow in the summer when I’m mostly doing unstructured riding outdoors but occasionally have a need to do a ride or two indoors for some reason.
