I’m not following your point. I don’t disagree with you that their product is their engineering and not shirts, but that’s not necessarily a reason to not produce apparel or merchandise that customers are clearly asking for. Especially if the services needed to facilitate production of the merchandise is largely donated and there’s not a negative cost involved (in either time or cash). There’s literally no downside. The sale of the merchandise would cover admin costs, production costs… basically all COGS.
