TR Plans and Zwift races

I’ve been off the bike for a while and trying to get some fitness back.
I’m due to start the TR Sweetspot Base Low Volume plan next week but I’ve also signed up for two months of weekly Zwift races to keep things interesting.

Any suggestions as to how I should combine the two?

Should the Zwift race be an extra workout or completed in place of one of the others?

Last winter when I was more regularly zwifting, I swapped the zwift race for a threshold workout. That was at mid volume, pre-AT. Any zwift race (or indeed event) has been pretty full on from the pen. I definitely wasn’t able to follow a Friday night race with anything too hard on a Saturday anyway (I tried a few times!).
