I want Cav on the Champs Elysee for 35!

While 35 on the Camps would make for a nice story, 1) he has to make it through the Pyrenees, and 2) that only gives him one shot at breaking the record. A lot can go wrong in a bunch gallop. Too risky, IMO…they should look to get the next stage wherever they can.
Masterclass by Cav
Cobrelli seemed to waste some energy the last 10km or so. Nose in the wind. By contrast looks like Cav had one bump with the Alpacin rider (which was nothing) and maybe one moment where he lost the wheel after the DSM guys surged on the right side.
Haven’t watched the replay yet, but was anyone else even in the frame with a chance vs Cav?
He had half a bike on his lead out. Just smoked it.
I think stage 19 is the only flat one left? it´s on the back of some really hard days, but who else would win it

Not really…I wish they would switch to overhead shots for sprint finishes instead of front-on. Makes the finishes look closer than they really.
After all our questioning of Movistar, it is worth noting that they did get 4th on the stage, so…

Breakdown of that sprint was crazy. Looks like Morkov totally could have won had he not backed off for Cav.
If DQS has an opportunity before Paris, unlikely as it is, they could pull a Saturn Sit Up and have Morkov ride away while all eyes are on Cav to launch. Would be very cheeky move but Morkov has been brilliant and a stage win would be a nice additional reward to the Rolex or Porsche or new house Cav needs to buy him.
On Edit - Richard Mille wristwatch but “Rolex” is more recognizable.
My perception of DQ is that these aren’t Cav wins… they are DQ wins. He’s just the last pair of wheels on the train.
