For context, I took a 1.5-week stop due to the Easter holiday. Basically, making 1 week out of the 3 of the build phase.
As previously recommended in the forum, I’m still going through my endurance week. I could increase the volume, though.
Wondering if it would be better to repeat the build phase before going to speciality, since I do not have an event in the program, and it is just for general fitness. If so, how do I make it?
Was thinking of moving each week manually, but since I put the Easter holiday on the calendar, I cannot copy those workouts.
Thank you all
If you want 4 weeks of build and 4 weeks of specialty, go back 4 weeks from today and create a 12 week plan.
If you want 8 weeks of build and 8 weeks of specialty, go back 8 weeks from today and create a 24 week plan.

What would you advise for/against?
Mid June / Mid July is exam season, so consistency might be off. I do not have a peak event, I generally tend to peak my condition around Late July/August
Why don’t you pick a goal in August and build the schedule to it. If you backdate the start you can get the 8 weeks of build.
The appropriate value/emphasis on a specialty phase is an interesting question if you don’t have an event to target. The main purpose of a specialty phase is to tune event-specific performance more than actually building core aerobic fitness.
If you feel motivated and physically ready to continue building, I’d personally lean in that direction. You can’t build forever without stepping back a bit to recharge, but build phases are going to be the biggest driver of aerobic fitness.
When I’m not training for an event, the last thing I want to do is thrash myself going through build phases. I just need that carrot on the calendar for motivation. Kudos to you and others who tackle these plans for general fitness building.
