Tire choice for Rebecca’s Private Idaho

Hey all, it’s my first time doing RPI and I’m racing all three day’s, ending with the 100 mile ride on Saturday.

I’m curious what tires people have run in the past and how the course has been? Right now I have 50 mil Schwalbe G-One RS Pro which are super fast on the road but are basically a slick. I’m thinking it might be beneficial to throw on 50 dubs?

I think the 50 Dubnital is equal to or superior pretty much everywhere. The rolling resistance is virtually identical, as well as the weight. Then you have the grip…the dubs is so much better in dirt, its a no brainer. Dub all day.

My first RPI as well . I’m planning on running the G-One R and G-One R pro, but curious to see what people think
