Tart Cherry Juice study

Found this study on the benefits of tart cherry juice. It seems that there is no clear evidence of it’s benefits. The most often term used is “equivocal”. Some studies show a benefit while others do not.
Matt Fitzgerald has it on his list of Superfoods in his Endurance Diet book.

I think I’ll start drinking it because it’s still a good low-glycemic load source of carbs. Good for diabetics

How did TCJ treated you, mate?

I use it when my arthritis flares up. Also the frozen cherries. Don’t know if it helps but it can’t hurt. Prolonged use (in the morning on an empty stomach)causes stomach problems for me.
Pasted from WebMd:
Both tart and sweet cherries have high amounts of polyphenols, which are antioxidants that include anthocyanins, hydroxycinnamic acid, and flavanols. Each type of cherry has different levels of these antioxidants. Anthocyanins, for example, give cherries their red color, and they also provide anti-inflammatory benefits.

I drink 8oz with sparkling water after my rides sometimes. Tastes good!!
