Switching mid workout

Is it possible to switch from dumb rollers to a smart trainer mid-workout? Same bike, same power meter.

I am planning to attend a virtual conference on my bike. Three days, 5 hrs per day. I was hoping to do the first couple of sessions on my rollers, which I enjoy more. Then when I start to get tired, move the bike over to the Kickr Core so I don’t fall over and hurt myself.

Has anyone tried this? Will it work?

If you’re using PowerMatch on the trainer it should all be the same. Seems like a lot of hassle but if it keeps you motivated and safe then give it a go. Probably easier if you’re doing threshold and below workouts.
