Swapping Trad Base Workouts for SweetSpot in Time Crunch

Hi Everyone,

I am currently doing the traditional base program (On Trad Base 1 currently) and wanted to get advice on if I have to skip a weekday (2.5-3hr z2 ride). Certain days I just don’t have the time to do the long weekday ride with work. It doesn’t happen often, but should I just push that off a day and go back to back 2.5-3 hr z2 days or replace it with a 1 hr sweetspot workout?

I know the importance of cumulative z2 for the base, but is this a good plan if something comes up?
