Strength training effect on bike training plan

Improving how Adaptive Training sees strength training is something we are actively working on right now – stay tuned for more info on that, we’ll be sure to post about it!

In the meantime, you can add your strength sessions to your TR Calendar as a “Non-Cycling Activity.” The link below goes over how to do so:

If you feel particularly sore/fatigued from a difficult strength workout, feel free to use Workout Alternates to select a workout at a lower Workout Level that might be more “Achievable” for that day. You could also replace an interval workout with an easier Endurance or Recovery ride, or even take the day completely off to rest if you’re really feeling the effects of your strength workout.
