Stages L/R Shimano 9100 Calibration issue

Hi all, I have a Stages Shimano 9100 L/R power meter since 4 years. The zero reset values were about 890 for both sides with some variations depending on the temperature. My left right balance was almost always 50-50 varying by 1% either side.

Since about 2 months, the left side zero offset value has gone down to 865. I did not notice it at first, but I noticed that my left right balance is now 47%-53% quite often. I removed the crank a few times for maintenance. I changed both batteries, unpair and re-pair, let the powermeter 24h without battery…

I still get this difference of 865-890 in the zero offset values. Do you have any solutions ?
Thanks in advance.

Hey @Phil

You probably have it linked successfully in Stages, but let’s just make sure that it’s linked in the correct order as outlined here:

And then let’s make sure you have the latest firmware and it’s calibrated:

Thank you for posting the links. I know how to do the zero reset as per Stages app.

What I am questionning is the value I am getting since it changed over time and also because my Left right balance is now off.

Is there a way to perform a hard reset or any other ajustement ? Stages user, do you have such dicreapancy in your L/R zero resest value?

I would have contacted Stages support, but given the current situation, it is unlikely that I will get an anwser.

Here’s how to do a hard reset

This is from Quarq, but maybe see if the Stages has the same thing
