Hi Kelsey, just wondering what your thoughts on the Primal cycling kit is?
Yours was the only mention I could find. I’ll also ask the forum at large.
I really like my Primal kit a lot (the club I ride for is sponsored by them). For the women’s kit, I do wish the bibs had a drop tail or similar for bathroom breaks, but I’ve found them very comfortable even on long rides. I wore them on a bikepacking trip last year, and they were great. The jerseys (I have normal fitted road jerseys and baggy SS MTB ones) are all very comfortable. So far the Omni jersey has been working out pretty well for me as a lightweight hot weather option, but that one is newer to me so I haven’t had as much ride time in it. I also have a couple of the Equinox and a MTB jersey I can’t remember the name of that I like quite a bit too.
Thanks heaps! I’m looking at the Omni I think for a kit for a mate and I. Bit expensive, but it’s not so bad if it’s high quality kit.
Would you say the Chamois is on par with other high-ish end bibs in the price category?
I have the awkward issue of sizing as a tall, skinny male, but I won’t compare that to the issues with trying to find decent women’s specific kit

No problem! I actually haven’t ridden in the Omni bibs, just the jersey. All my Primal bibs are the Helix 2.0. I also haven’t had many (any?) of the typical high end bibs to compare to, but these are definitely more comfortable and have a better chamois than the top of the line Pearl Izumi bibs I wore before these.
