Not just mine then. The cats here have had Ultra Polarized training figured out long before it became a thing. Mine are on a 98/1/1 plan. 98% of time sleeping. 1% on nutrition and hydration. Every day or two leaping gracefully onto the roof in almost a single bound (plyometrics?). That’s it. Way fitter than I’ll ever be.
And they don’t even train. Makes me sick.

I’m in the same boat as you bro. Fortunately I can groom their belly. It’s hard to keep up though, especially when you ride a lot/busy. Best thing for me is to just find a good vacuum cleaner around. Those portable Dyson ones are really handy.

“friendly eyes”
HA, yup. She is about the sweetest cat I’ve been around for any length of time. She was just chilling on my lap and enjoying the sun as it rolled over the fence. One of those magical mornings and moments. 
Do you close and open your eyes when she’s looking at you? Sometimes I have both of mine sitting across the room slowly opening and closing their eyes at me. Apparently, they do it to acknowledge we’re not a threat and neither are they…
Yup, I do the “slow blink” (al Jackson Galaxy) sometimes with her and sister.
I usually do it when we are sitting on the couch or floor. Seems to work from my use. Pretty dang cool.
No need to excuse anything… you’d cringe at what my basement looks like right now (remodel)
