Not with ours - get the brush out and he rushes to you and fusses to get attention, standing on his hind legs to try and grab at it. Once you start itās an utter purrrrr-fest

Ugh, Iām so jealous. With mine being a medium/long hair cat, she canāt keep up with grooming, or she gets terribly matted fur. She will reasonably tolerate the brush as long as I donāt touch her belly or hind legs, but if you do, God help you, skin will be lost. Have to wonder what happened before adoption?

Same hereā¦we usually have a groomer come to the house to trim off the clumps that form on her back. Mostly because sheās too far to reach back there. This time the groomer came she used a brush and was able to pull them out. I was impressed it worked. Kept her looking normal. Otherwise she looks like thisā¦
